The ECC is the largest group (community of communities) of independent catholic churches in the United States, with churches outside of the U.S. around the world. The ACC entered into inter-communion with the ECC on August 1, 2015.

The ACC has close relations with the PIC: Bp Clement was also conscreted as PIC bishop. The PIC is also known as the Autonomous Catholic Church in the Philippines.
